Edwin Sanz "San Agustin"
My long-time collaborator and Venezuelan percussion maestro asked me to arrange and produce his debut album. The resulting CD "San Agustin" (listen) was launched at Glastonbury Festival in 2014 - watch show here - and has shows in the UK summer of 2015. Following this success, the next album is currently being planned for 2016!
I have the honour of playing in a quartet led by Jamaican guitar legend, Ernest Ranglin and have toured Europe and Asia including the Fuji Rock Festival, Japan in July 2012.
Shows for 2016 are currently being planned
I play keyboards for this group which the World Music Charts Europe describe as "Some floor-filling Latin grooves with semi-rapped vocals laid over the top, a sprinkling of piano-driven salsa and copious attitude oozing out of every tune - no dodgy cultural fusion going on here, this is the real thing."

Do You Speak Djembe
Between 2014 and 2017 I was pianist and musical director/supervisoir of a fascinatingly original show whereby every audience member gets a drum to play and learns the rhythms! Add to this some top quality musicians such as Marque Gilmore, Seckou Keita, Fatoma Dembele, Adama Bilorou Dembele and Davide Mantovani and this is an experience like no other!
Autumn touring in France 2015 ... Watch video
In 2013 I released a trio album with Frank Tontoh (drums) and Davide Mantovani (bass).
Rodrigo y Gabriela
In 2011 I was contacted by Rodrigo y Gabriela to be arranger, musical director and pianist for their CUBA project. We recorded an album in Cuba and then went on to tour Australia, Asia,
Europe and America.
